«Trabajaré incansablemente por y para el PLD» dice Armando García tras ser elegido miembro del Comité Político

Armando García electo miembro del Comité Político por el Partido de la Liberación Dominicana, manifestó que trabajará incansablemente para que el PLD retorne al poder en 2024.

Aprovechó para agradecer a los miembros del Comité Central por depositar su confianza en él y se comprometió a no defraudarlos.

García, quien obtuvo 542 votos, para un 47.38% de los votos emitidos, felicitó a la Comisión Organizadora en la persona de su coordinadora Cristina Lizardo, por el brillante papel jugado durante todo el desarrollo del IX Congreso Ordinario José Joaquín Bidó Medina, propiciando apertura, transparencia, eficiencia y participación de toda la estructura partidaria desde el 11 de octubre de 2020, cuando fue aperturado este congreso.

«Felicito a la Comisión Organizadora, y agradezco infinitamente a todos mis compañeros del Comité Central por este voto de confianza. Quiero reiterar mi compromiso de seguir trabajando y fortaleciendo a nuestro Partido», motivó el alto dirigente.

Este domingo el Partido de la Liberación Dominicana, escogió a su presidente, el expresidente de la República Danilo Medina y el Secretario General, Charlie Mariotti, además de 43 miembros del Comité Político.

El aspirante al Comité Político fue promovido con el número 15 en la boleta para la elección del organismo celebrada este domingo 7.

Dijo que el proceso llevado a cabo fue igual que las elecciones del Comité Central celebrada el domingo 14 de febrero «hoy dimos una señal clara y contundente del compromiso que tenemos con la Renovación y la Transformación del Partido», reiteró García.

Armando García que tiene 26 años de servicio dentro del partido, en reiteradas ocasiones a expresado creer en la estructura, visión y futuro del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana.

«Creemos en el PLD, creemos en el futuro del PLD, creemos en la dirigencia del PLD y en la visión y filosofía fundamentada en el Boschismo”.

Método

De acuerdo a los estatutos para ser electo miembro del Comité Político, hay que obtener en una primera vuelta el 33% de los votos emitidos de la matrícula presente del Comité Central, que para esta ocasión era de 1,141 y de no obtenerse se harían las rondas necesarias hasta completar los escaños.

Vocación de García

El recién electo miembro del Comité Político ha promovido que el PLD debe convertirse en un Partido Digital, lo cual se establece en los nuevos estatutos del PLD, fundamentado en el uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación.

De acuerdo a García, la organización tiene un plan de reestructuración en todos las direcciones políticas de los municipios, provincias y seccionales del exterior a partir del mes de marzo.

La escogencia de las autoridades del Comité Político se realizó en los Salones de eventos de Sans Souci y su juramentación está pautada para el domingo 14 de marzo en el Palacio de los Deportes.
